28 February 2012 One Comment

Since a month we offer a new feature on Cognac Fans: Submit Your Cognac Bottle. With this new feature you are able to submit your Cognac bottle, if you would like to know the value or age… Today we received an vintage  1937 Grande Champagne Cognac of a brand we never heard about; Cameron French & Co.

However the Cognac is an vintage from 1937, it is bottled in 1968. Which means the Cognac aged for about 30 years. Just perfect for Grande Champagne Cognacs! Read more about the Cognac Regions.

Name of bottle: Cameron French & Co – Vintage 1937 bottled in 1968 Grande Champage cognac

Written on labels: 34 Old Brompton Road, London

Story: the bottle was given to the owner as a gift 20yrs ago. Currently the owner is open to discuss selling this bottle.

Worth: very rare brand, also the aging of 30 years is just perfect for Grande Champagne. The bottle itself is from 1968 and the Cognac didn’t aged any more since then. Unfortunately the label does not stick any more. This Cognac will be worth about $200 – $400 on auctions.
