Winner Tasting Panel Magazine: Comandon XO

20 December 2011 No Comment

Comandon XO just won the title of “most outstanding spirit” in America from the Tasting Panel Magazine.

Every December the magazine has a review on the best spirits of the year, and this is what they call “the best in-class 2011 graduating with honors”. The magazine mostly congratulated Comandon XO has being the most balanced spirit. This is what is expected from a quality cognac XO…

“Graduating with honors in 2011 is the spirit with a profile better balanced than a valedictorian’s extracurricular activities. Made from a blend of 125 eaux-de-vie from the leading terroirs in Cognac, Comandon XO achieves perfect synchronicity between young and mature cognacs, with old rancio and youthfulness swirling together effortlessly on the palate to demonstrate well-honed skills developped by the House of Comandon, founded in 1821, and ever-appreciated in 2011.”

Dark amber; lush and mellow with creamy texture; extremely smooth and feminine with orange peel, flowers and spice; fragrant, aromatic and rich with sweet oaks and long, luscious lovely Borderies floral notes.”
