Just like the Tesco with it’s Courvoisier VS Christmas Pudding, Waitrose also offers a Cognac matured Christmas-pudding. This time made with Rémy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac.
This pudding is matured for 12 month’s, quite long for a Christmas Pudding, they even started making this puddings before last Christmas, unbelievable…..

When I opened the lid prior to cooking this smelt like any regular Christmas Pudding to me however when I cooked it there was a definite taste of Remy Martin. The taste of the alcohol wasn’t overpowering but just a hint enough to compliment the pudding
