Courvoisier XO Imperial

Courvoisier XO Imperial is a very aromatic cognac with orange, vanilla and Creme Brulee.
Compared with the Remy Martin XO this cognac is slightly less complex, this cognac is less earthy and masculine in comparison to the taste of the Hennessy XO. The Courvoisier XO, is a good average between the two.

Meukow makes beautiful cognacs in beautiful bottles! The Meukow XO Grand Champagne XO is a well-balanced cognac. This Cognac is even better than the most XO cognacs from the big established brands like Remy Martin, Hennessy, Martell and Courvoisier.

Grönstedts Noël 2012 XO – Christmas Cognac

It is the seventh consecutive year that Grönstedts makes a special Christmas-Cognac which is called Grönstedts Noël 2012 XO.
Like the other years this Cognac has been made of the regular Grönstedts XO, but also with parts of last year’s Noël and some other eaux-de-vie.
Basically it is a blend of cognacs with an average age of 30 years, mainly from the Grand Champagne and Petit Champagne districts, but also some Borderies.

François Voyer XO Grand Cru

A few years ago I described the François Voyer XO Gold as one of the best XO Cognacs. This XO Grand Cru is the slightly younger, about 5 years, brother of this XO Gold.
The name of Grand Cru revers to the Grande Champagne, Voyer uses for all of their Cognacs, as Grande Champagne is the Grand Cru of the Cognac region.
The decanter is a beauty, which suits very well in your drinking cabinet…

Rémy Martin XO GOLD – Exclusive Edition

Rémy Martin unveiled the “Exclusive limited edition” XO Gold, part of the XO Excellence Fine champagne cognac line. In terms of taste this Cognac is said the same as the “normal” XO Excellence, the only difference is the beautiful golden label in combination with the golden air-brush, another name (Exclusive Limited Edition) and the luxury gift box. Great as give-away in the upcoming Christmas-season!

Hine Antique XO Fine Champagne – Cognac Review

Yesterday I bought some Hine Antique bottles for Cognac Tastings I regulary give in the Netherlands, strange enough I hadn’t reviewed this Cognac before so here it is!
The Hine Antique XO Fine Champagne is made from Grande and Petite Champagne spirits with at least 50% of Grande Champagne and contains more than 40 cognacs aged for more than one generation. This Cognac is replaced by a new Hine Antique XO made from 100% Grande Champagne Cognacs in 2010.
