Summer Cognac Cocktail – Dame Eleonore

Today we present a cocktail developed in the Royal Chateau of Cognac where François 1st, King of France, was born. A fruity drink to sip during the summer. This cocktail is a homage to the second wife of François 1st, Eleanor of Austria.

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • Cocktail Glass
  • 50ml of BARON OTARD VSOP Cognac
  • 25ml of freshly white grapefruit juice
  • 3 cubes of ginger
  • 3 mint leaves

Instructions how to make this Cognac Cocktail:

Muddle the ginger and mint leaves in the shaker.
Add ice, BARON OTARD VSOP Cognac and the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
Shake, strain and serve.
Squeeze and add a twist of a grapefruit peel.
