Rémy Martin Louis XIII specials (1999 – 2011)
We already spoke a lot about the iconic Louis XIII Cognac of Rémy Martin, the last years many special editions where presented of this exclusive Cognac in the Baccarat Decanter. Therefore we made a list of these specials.
In 1999 Rémy Martin launched the Louis XIII Rendez Vous, in 2001 Rémy Martin launched the Louis XIII Diamant, in 2007 they introduced the Louis XIII Black Pearl, in 2010 the Louis XIII Rare Cask and in 2011 the Louis XIII Jeroboam.
One of a pair of rare old special edition Rémy Martin Louis XIII cognacs, bottled for the Millennium. The bottle has the message ‘Rendez-Vous 2000’ screenprinted in gold.
Diamant Louis XIII inlaid with a cognac diamond of 1.31 carats, with a limited edition of 1000 bottles, factory price 6,600 EUR at that time.

In the perfect light the decanter appears to be smoky black and silver, reflecting the hues of a black pearl. Only 786 decanters can be culled from one tiercon (the term for oak barrels used by Rémy Martin to age Louis XIII).
Handcrafted in black crystal, the neck of the decanter is dressed in palladium.
Only 786 bottles are available worldwide and each bottle comes for a price of €10,000 (about $15,000).
This Louis XIII offers a higher alcohol percentage of 43,8%.
