New bottles and taste for Bisquit

4 December 2010 No Comment

The South African Distell works hard on their Bisquit, more than one year after the acquisition of Pernod Ricard’s Bisquit it comes with a completely new line-up of Cognacs.

Both the bottles and the contents have changed, the bottles look a lot more up-to-date.

The difference in taste is the most striking with the VSOP Fine Champagne, it is not anymore a Fine Champagne, but a blend of different regions.

Message about the acquisition of Bisquit Cognac:

Pernod Ricard has agreed a deal to sell its Bisquit Cognac brand to South Africa’s Distell Group for EUR31m, as part of the French group’s strategy to dispose of peripheral brands.

Pernod said today (2 March 2009) that the deal, which remains subject to regulatory approval, also includes distribution rights in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
