29 January 2012 One Comment

The original bottle of L’Essence de Courvoisier was released back in 2009.  Offering an blend of over 100 rare eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Borderies cognac crus

Now Courvoisier brings out a Special Edition Cognac to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Dragon, limited to 500 decanters.

The decanter has been hand-sculpted by over 30 craftsmen from Baccarat, the centuries-old crystal house.

The decanter is suspended in a frame complete with a finely crafted crystal stopper, inspired by the signet rings given by Napoleon Bonaparte to commanders in his army in recognition of noble acts.

“Palate is all about exposing dining enthusiasts to amazing experiences and helping them discover Singapore in a way they have never seen before through our wide range of restaurants and bars offering the best privileges,” says Julius Toh, Palate’s Programme Director. “Members will be spoilt for choice when it comes to using their Palate privileges at our collection of quality restaurants and bars.”
