Hennessy VS

One of the most famous brand is Hennessy cognac, for that reason I expected a lot of Hennessy VS (Very Special), because the VS is one of the most expensive in its segment. Unfortunately, this cognac was still a bit disappointing.

The label and bottle are gorgeous, everyone knows the draft, maybe that’s why this is the best selling cognac brandy in the VS segment.

About the taste, I speak less, it is earthy and sharp. For that reason, I also this cognac with an ice cube in a cocktail or use. This taste the sharp taste less. Price Technically it is not wise to use this cognac cocktails. There are cheaper brands of brandy, as Joseph Guy in the Netherlands…..

The tasting notes of Hennessy VS:

Color: golden.
The scent: vanilla and strong alcohol.
The taste: taste of sharp, sophisticated little wooden.
The after-taste: the after-taste is powerful and sharp.
The origin: cognac from all districts.
Age: 2.5 to 5 years is very little for a cognac, for this reason that U.S. is still so sharp.
