Hennessy Paradis Impérial
A few months ago we spoke about the Hennessy Paradis Impérial which was exclusively available through Heinemann Duty Free at Frankfurt airport terminal 1B.
Luckily this awesome Cognac is now also availble at selected stores worldwide, such as Harrods.
Paradis Impérial was inspired by a special commission for the Russian Empress, Maria Feodorovna, in 1818 for a cognac of most exceptional quality, as a present for her son Tsar Alexander 1.
The original bottle was blended by the first generation of the Filioux family and, today, seventh-generation Master Blender Yann Filioux, has reinterpreted this unique blend and created the Paradis Impérial – a cognac of outstanding rarity and finesse.
This exceptional cognac is blended from several hundred rare eaux de vie, aged between 40 and 150 years old, hand-selected from Hennessy’s reserve cellar or ‘Paradis’. The result is a shimmering, amber-coloured cognac with a hint of sophisticated refinement, where aromas of jasmine and orange blossom are spiced with smoky accents.
The iconic, individually numbered crystal decanter was created by talented young designer Stephanie Balini and features an exquisite cabochon with an 18-carat gold-plated label.
This Cognac is sold for about €1.400,-
Hennessy unveiled their Paradis Imperial at the spectacular Hennessy Palace at Grand Hyatt Macau, City of Dreams on 12 May 2011.
The theme of the night was ‘Russian Imperial’ and guests were treated to a ballet performance before an indulgent seven-course meal featuring exquisite items like caviar, abalone and foie gras.
