Normann Copenhagen Cognac Glasses

Cognac Fans favorite Cognac Design glass comes from Normann Copenhagen, we even used a picture of it in our header above!
The design of the glass is beautiful, it is also fascinating to see the glass could spin like a top. As for glass to drink, I find it somewhat less suitable for brandy.

Making music on Cognac Glasses (video)

Everybody once tried to make music on their Cristal glasses, unfortunately we weren’t so good in doing this, therefore we decided to focus on the contents of the glass, the great Cognacs or wines…
The couple of the video in this article are very handy on Cristal Brandy Glasses, they call their table full of glasses a Glass Harp… Enjoy it!

Courvoisier Rosé – Photo Shoot video

Courvoisier Rose provides a smooth alternative to the traditional flavor profiles of cognac, offering consumers a fun, stylish beverage that is easy to drink. Packaged in the iconic Josephine bottle, Courvoisier Rose’s flavor profile features notes of blackberry, black currant and a touch of cherry, complemented by vanilla, honey and vine-peach flavors.
For those who typically pair cognac with juice or other mixers, Courvoisier Rose is the ideal alternative. The 18% alcoholic liquid is best served chilled or on ice for a refreshing and approachable taste experience.

On YouTube I found two HD movies from Remy Martin and Baron Otard, where the tour is almost completely shot. It is an easy and inexpensive way to learn much about Cognac and these brands in general!
Enjoy!

Rémy Martin V – Clear Spirit Review

Last year I wrote about the introduction of the Rémy Martin V, it is the first clear spirit from the House of Rémy Martin.
Pronounced “Vee” (derived from the French word “Vie” for “life”), Rémy Martin V is also the first product of its kind in this category.
Luckily enough Cognac Fans managed to get a bottle of “V” to review it.

Harvesting 2011 has begun!

This year it’s early harvesting time in the Cognac region! Some producers even already harvested last week, such as Cognac Pinard, which harvested their vintage 2011 Folle Blanche grapes last Thursday 25th of August.
Last year, the major producers begun harvesting in the third week of September, this time it’s about 3 weeks earlier.
How does this early harvesting come, the weather hasn’t been great this summer? Well, it’s all because of the mild weather in the winter and the warm spring….
